Mine shoots best with 110 grains of 2f black powder, a .018 pillow tick patch, and a Speer .570 roundball.

I don't have any .570 balls - only .575s that I mold for the Zouave. I'll have to pick up some 570s to try both sizes. I'm looking forward to playing with it, but won't get to shoot it for a couple of weeks. The barrel should be here Monday, but we're leaving Wednesday to visit my sister-in-law in Georgia for a week or so. While the girls are chatting I'll be roving the pawn shops.
