Hey buck, didn' t want to start a new thread about it, but am just busting at the seems wanting to tell someone.

I FINALLY got my Mighty Mite dialed in perfectly. A little more creep would be nice, but besides that-

I was fighting my whisker biscuit rest and gave up and put the trophy taker back on, What a difference!! Not that I dislike the wb, I still have it on 2 other bows. I just couldn' t make the moves I needed to make with my nocking point without experienceing a hard fletching contact on the supprt bar. I could shoot f/p' s and mechanicals great out to 30 yards, but fixed blades were a mess. Even the slick tricks weren' t working for me.

So I put the shaky hunter back on, made some adjustments, fletched up some helical arrows and wolla- muzzy 100 3 bladers, titan 100 4 bladers, slick tricks, mechanicals- whatever you want well inside of 2" at 30 yards. It' s almost like majic!!

I also picked up some major speed (well all things considered). I refletched my arrows with duravanes which knocked 12 grains off the rear of each arrow and also lowered my bottom string leech all the way to the serving. I placed a small black nock (don' t know where I got it) directly above the string leech to hold it down.

With these two changes I went from 266 to 272!! consistently!!
That' s at 65#(never touched the limb bolts) with a 426 grain arrow!! for a 70 ft/lb ke result. This was with the WB still on.

When I removed the wb and installed the TT I served it into the cable and shot through the chrony after lining everything out, still 272fps (I figured I' d pick up some more, but oh well).

I' m a Real happy camper now, so happy I think I just bought another Bowtech!!

(still waiting to see if the deal pans out, it' s a lower end bow and might get added to my collection, or sold to a friend in need)


Oh ya, and the simms cable slide is a must. I tried a alpine glide slide and it was even smoother, but the rubber housing slowly sltretched and allowed for cable to fletching contact that was non-existant before it stretched.
