You already have the compound - Keep it (if you can get it adjusted to the right length of pull) then, go get a crossbow to go with it. Why limit yourself? There a lot of bow-hunters out there who would have you believe shooting a crossbow is easy while shooting a compound is not: This is garbage! You have to control your breathing and emotions no matter what you shoot (including a rifle). All the same factors that affect a compound bow affect a X-bow: Wind, distance, etc. The new compound bows are capable of launching a projectile @ speeds matching or exceeding a X-bow's velocity.
They are both excellent choices: Enjoy them both!
