I have an older Browning in a 270 Win 22” barrel. When I load up 130gr. Hornady SST the speed is just below 3100 ft/sec.
A buddy of mine shot some Winchester Ballistic Silver in his 308 Win. and the Chorograph was showing up to125 ft/sec difference in speed for the 10 rounds he went through. Also they are a lot slower than the reloads he made up.
Good luck with the Browning, mine out lasted 3 houses, 5 trucks, 2 horses and 5 computers.
