Sorry I should have mentioned earlier, I'm from the uk and I only know of one shop in the whole of the uk which can replace the string and it's an internet based shop so I would have to package it up and send it off. I think they charge a lot of money to have it done aswell.
If you get a solid limb compound vs split limbs, like most Hortons, you can change the string/cables yourself w/ a gizmo like this. I don't know who makes it, but I've made a few out of hardwood and old bow strings.
