Yes, that is correct. The breech plug goes in first. Tighten it and then turn it back one quarter turn. Then the 209 nipple is twisted into the breech plug. Remember, after ten shot, give that breech plug and nipple a twist out and then back in. It keeps them from seizing into the rifle.
I have a Black Diamond XR and it is a great rifle. Extremely accurate, but dirty. If you want to protect the belly of that scope, make a bra for it out of duct tape. You can then wipe the fouling off the duct tape and it will protect the scope from the heat of the ignition.
