Im thinking about hooking up external battery sources to my two cameras (Bushnell Trophy and a Scoutguard) Both have the jack for a external power source. Where can I find one of these external jacks? Ive been looking all over. I was going to hook two 6 volt 12 amp hr batteries in parallel for each camera. Good idea or no?

My plan was to keep the batteries on the ground in a old ammo box and run the wire up to the camera.
