Personally I would boycott the hunt.Now that the bears have become a problem the state wants to use the hunters to solve it. They could care less if you hunt or not,it's the cheap & easy way out for the state.
I kind of agree with that statement. I would however recommend targeting specific problem bears with bait and hounds, giving out limited tags to those setups. Although I have had my eye on a nice 400 pounder that I was seeing on some public land during archery season
