Sounds like you are looking in the right spots, but don't over look the corn fields. I have found most of my sheds this year in the field. It is pretty boring, but you have to do what you have to do if you want them.
Iv done this but cheat, find a high spot where you can look down some rows and get the good ole binocs out move accross the rows to see more, kinda the lazy way but when the fields are big.. its nice
