With smokeless, dippers are fine, though I would certainly use a scale if I were to approach within 1gr of max. I don't have a smokeless ML, but have loaded centerfire for a few years. You can be sloppy with BP, not with smokeless. Greater risk, greater rewards. Play it safe, and weigh if you're loading hot.
