You are right Frank, the dartons are not real quiet, or shock free for that matter. But they don't cost 700 bucks either. I would compare the noise and feel of most dartons to the mathews ultra 2. That bows pretty quick, but at a price for sure. Out of all the bows I shot last summer shopping around the one I could draw the most weight on was the parker ul31. I pulled 70# at 28". usually my max is around 65 at 26 or 27 inches. It had a fair amount of kick to it also, but what do you expect for a bow that weighs under 3 lbs.

I still don't know what I want yet. I want to look at the bowtechs before I really make a decision. I just can't find anyone in my area that stocks them.
