I agree with Screamin Steel, DO NOT use any of your turkey calls on them or you will just educate them. I know your season still has a few weeks before it opens but there is nothing wrong with you going out and listening. And that is all I would do. I wouldn't try to get in too close and see them because as open as the woods are right now they will see you before you see them and you don't want to bother them much and spook them out of your area before season opens.
Go out and listen and if you hear some, mentally mark the area you think they are, or if you have a gps take your reading. When you go out again, do the same thing, try to see up until season opens if they are roosting in the same general area..
As long as you refrain from calling using your turkey calls and you don't get in too close and spook them you should have them in your sights opening day.. Good Luck!!!
