I have two I-40s that take excellent pictures. I have a Reconyx, Cuddeback Capture, Leafriver IR7SS, and a Stealthcam I-590. Depending on the application I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them. I have only had the Leafriver for about a month so I'm really still learning about it. Each camera has it's strenghts and weaknesses but here is the order I would rank them.

1. Reconyx, by far the best but very expensive, about $550.00
2. Moultrie I-40, best quality pics of any of the cams I own.
3. Cuudeback Capture, superfast trigger speed and crisp clear pics but the 30 sec. delay between triggers really bothers me.
4. Leafriver IR7SS, Does video with sound which adds a whole 'nother dimension. Downside is it's very hard to program.
5. Stealthcam I-590, an inexpensive camera that takes really good day/night color photos and is very inexpensive, about $100.00 but trigger is slow.
