I stand corrected. I googled and got these two sites from the US census but used a 2000 vs a 2008 estimate. They're two lines apart. Sorry for the foul-up. The difference is actually a only little under a mil.

But it's still only an 8% difference in popultion using your numbers.

The point you ignored was that on a per 100,000 vehicles comprison, PA has 33% more deer/car collisions.
