things also change amount of deer killed along highways.changing rd or food etc does it.more traffic, like we are getting gas drilling in our area here in clinton county.
MORE TRAFFIC.here is sprouls view.i saw a couple of deer that were using road daily.sadly both got hit by STONE TRUCKS.these trucks all ride at 55 mph together, like 6 in row so they can keep their speed up,they get paid by trips.deer has no way to get around them.
without those trucks those deer could have survived.but remember, they were only 2 that were there.
so someone may see those 2 deer dead and say, SPROUL THERE IS LOTS OF DEER,I SAW 2 DEAD ALONG ROAD.
folks, big trucks are using our backroads like nothing we have seen now.dont use the roadkill view as thinking there could be a lot of deer ,its just that deer that are left are getting killed and makes it look like there are lots of deer.
it just makes me mad when i see those 6 stone trucks all together heading up rt 120 at 6 am going 55 mph and they know that a deer is going to miss the first truck and the 2nd and 3rd will hit them.
road kill is not a real good view of what deer are here,if no food in woods, deer wil be near highways or farms........
