We have been using vanilla extract for over 40yrs. now. You will like the results. We own a family bakery so our supply never runs out. Another scent you could try for a cover scent is anise oil. You'll be like a big christmas cookie but you would be suprised by the results. Good luck deerman
I got a good chuckle over this; not the fact of using flavors but of the anise smell and xmas cookies. My wife is italian and it just made me laugh becuase she bakes with it. I too would like to see the pictures and may try this! Thanks.
