I'd say mine is about 5 pounds. Problem isn't the trigger weight but the trigger weight and the extreme light weight of the overall gun. Even if the thing had a 3 lb trigger it can still affect a gun that weighs only 3.5 lbs. I filled the empty butt of the stock with rice and some putty epoxy in the forearm. Now the gun has a little heft and the kids shoot better offhand as it doesn't jump around so much from slight movement or the trigger force. Hope it
