I have the BAR Lightweight Stalker in .308 and I love it. Mine has the wood stock and is still very easy to carry and the recoil is very minimal. In fact, my 12 year old son would rather shoot it than his .243 . I agree that the trigger isn't the best in the world so I put a trigger shoe on it and that made all the difference in the world.
