Semi -T/C made a breech wrench that fit over the caplock breech to protect it from tooling marks and to allow another wrench to fit over it. But getting the breech off is only half the battle. installing the flinter breech was also time consuming if the barrel flats did not line up.
Best advice is to sell your caplock barrel and buy a flinter barrel.
