RE: do you have to line broadhead blades up with vanes for better flight
Bobcat 10, it isn' t necessary but if you feel you must, on aluminum arrows with hot glue melt, you can simply heat the end of the arrow and spin the broadhead to line up with your fletch...again it' s not necessary.
For carbon arrows with hot glue melt, install a field point and gently heat the end of the field point until the glue loosens enough to spin the insert to allow you to line up your blades when you put a broadhead back on....apply heat directly to carbon arrows will damage them.
For epoxy, this becomes much harder but you can follow the instructions above being very careful to supervise the heating process as to not damage the carbon arrow.
Again, it' s not necessary...more importantly is that the broadheads spin in the same plane as the arrow with no wobble and using adequate fletch for stabilization not to mention a well tuned bow.
