The hornet is my favorite caliber and I have 22 250 243 30-06 and others. The hornet has almost no recoil, is not very loud and if one reloads it is about the cheapest centerfire there is to shoot. But if I did not reload I would choose another caliber.But it is also a good reason to get into reloading for life and save a lot on all ammo.
