Like the majority of you, I am not a big fan of walking in the dark woods. A couple of years ago, I got out of my truck and started towards my stand. I got about 150 yards away, and all at once a pack of coyotes started howling. I thought I soiled myself. I turned my flashlight on, made a bunch of noise, and continued. They went over the other hillside and I made it to my stand without incident. But, I scared the sh$# out of me. Once I am in my stand though, I like to hear creatures moving in the dark. I once had 4 deer come under me. They must have followed me in because I only had time to put my safety around the tree and they were there.
