The hornet is fire when you load it up with a v-max, itll hammer coyotes out to about 150 yards in my experience some will run away. I had a ruger m77 in 22 hornet and loved it, I shot my first hog and deer with it when I was a kid and continued to use it on varmints. Just about perfect rifle for fox and coon a hair small for yotes but itlll do em in. Watch shooting in any heavy wind though.
