Don't know what to tell you as my skins have been on for 2 full hunting seasons. They have been in rain, wind, 100 + degree heat, freezing temps and they have held up well. The stand is stored in an outside, non heated and non air conditioned building during the off season. I did not do anything special when I put them on either.

You might contact Summit and ask them....I would call them versus email and talk to a live person. I have found Summit to have excellent customer service.
