Well the place is a gun shop and a pawn shop. I asked the one of the guys who works there if he knew why they person sold the gun to them. The person trades in because he wanted short action. The rifle was a christmas present. But I will pick up the rifle and change the stock when I get funds to do so. I have til Novemeber to make my changes. Thanks for the response.
