amperlart - never tried that fancy ricochet shooting.
I talked to a guy today that has an original 1842 Springfield .69 caliber. He thinks it is the rifle and not the smooth bore. He wants to sell it. He said it is in fair to good shape, all parts work and all original parts are there. So maybe I can learn that fancy shooting too. If his price is fair, I always wanted one. Being an original, and he said it is stamped, made in Massachusetts, I just hope he does not want too much for it.
He said he took it in trade for money owed to him. He also said, I think it might still be loaded.. So I told him to be real careful with that. But it does sound interesting.
