Had a friend who was out deer hunting. He climbed up his stand and after several hours saw movement off to his side. Lo and behold here comes a large black bear and it decides to lay down in the brush less than 10 feet from his stand. Only thing he had in his hand was his bow. He decided to wait out the bear. After 2 hours or so the bear got up and left followed about an hour later by my friend.
