when you see COUGAR its color alone will shake you up.

i called it ORANGISH, your WCO friend called it TAWNY.
Not really sproul.. I saw one this past summer at 4:50 pm.. I can give you the time but refuse to give the location.. It was swiftly coming up an embankment to cross route 1 up here. It was crouched low to the ground and moved very rapidly and turned and saw me driving along. It quickly spun around and shot back down into the woods. At first look it surely looked alot like a bobcat color in the winter months. It had absolutely no white on it at all. As it darted down the embankment the tail was evident and was about 3/4 the lenght of it's body. This was not reported for reasons that do not need to be explained. This one was most likely a young one that would weigh maybe 25lbs.. You could see the fear in it's eyes as it turned to look at me as I was driving by.. Without a doubt in my mind this was in fact a young Mt. Lion..
