I can not speak to the 44/270 i have some bt have never shot them... I can tell you that the .452/300 grain Gold Dot has a very good BC .233 and shoots very accurately to 200 yards. If you are currently using TEZ's easy loads you might want to try the Havester 5045CR (crush rib) or the MMP HPH-3p-EZ....

If you want some additional information of the .452/300 let me know....
