thanks everyone for their input! It has helped me narrow it down a bit. But the Franchi I-12 got me drooling.. I dont really like the Remington 11-87, my dad has one. I dont like it because it doesnt fit me well, so i will have to eliminate that choice. Another gun i was looking at is the Winchester Sx3.

its a bit pricey, but from what i hear its a really nice gun. would any of you know about it? I should head to my local hunting stores and check out some guns. obviously, i dont want to spend money on something that i cant shoulder well. i want a gun that you can actually shoot and not use for an oar on your way out of the swamps
