I would recommend the Ruger Single Six. I have had one for over 30 years and have been very happy with it. It is single action, but that is not any drawback for trapping. It is difficult for any revolver that can be converted from .22 lr to .22 Mag. to have target pistol accuracy, but mine is very accurate (groups are definately not crappy). The .22 Magnum cylinder is really handy for bigger critters.
Good choice going with a revolver so you won't be leaving empty cases near your traps.
It can't hold a candle to its cousin, Mark II.
