I am thinking about getting a beagle for rabbit hunting, or a cur for squirrel hunting. I can't decide which one would get hunted more. There are lots of squirrels, and rabbits around where I hunt so that isn't an issue. I was thinking would a bluetick beagle possibly be a decent tree (for squirrels) dog? I know beagles were bred to run not tree but blueticks are great tree dogs. Well is my thinking retarded or does it hold water? Thanks
