I have several of the Ruger "All Weathers".They've been in some nasty weather on occasions and look like the day I bought them. Don't be mislead. Because they are S/S doesn't mean they don't have to be cared for. They are more forgiven then a Blued steel gun but still need to cleaned and wiped down. The stainless guns are made from will rust. They are easy to clean up but I have seen several S/S guns with some form of rust.I knew a guy who used his old Ruger Security Six as a saltwater boat gun. It actually pitted. There is no such maintenance free gun I'm aware of.
