Pretty cool. Never used phenolic for anything. I have backed many selfbows with linen though.
I make my glass lams that exact way, when I make a glass lam bow. When I get the urge to make a glass lam bow, I might think of trying linen instead of fiberglass.
Just curious, what is the difference in the elastic potential when you use linen instead of fiberglass for your mid. strait? It would be interesting to know.
