I am not looking to hunt over feed of course, but in the harsh winters up here in northern Alberta, is there anything I can do to support the proper development of the bucks in my area such as mineral licks or small feed plots (I have land).

I have not seen a mature buck in quite some time, but that could be due to my incompetence as a hunter. Still I am wondering if they could use some help during the winter and spring until the deep snow goes away in May (my land sometimes has snow until late may as it melts slower than the city).
