My friends and I have had good luck with the Bushnell Trophy 1.75x4. They can handle the recoil of the 12 ga 3.5's with no problem. they have a circle-x reticle.
X2........My Dad, Brother and I all have the Trophy 1.75 x 4 on our 870's.....we've had them on for years, never had a problem with the recoil.
