That's the thing, IMO. You've
heard a lot of good things about the 700, but you've never even touched one (from what I can tell, since you asked how heavy it is). Find one with a good reputation that also feels right for YOU.
As already mentioned, Savage, T/C (Icon, check out the new Venture as well), Browning, etc...
