Bottles are smaller but also use LESS grains of powder so it pans out
That is not totally true... most loads are grain for grain with t7 until you get the the heavy bullets 300 and greater. Since BH is progressive it takes more BH to shoot the light weight bullets than it does T7. And when you do shoot laods of T7 and BH - with the heavier bullet you will get 150/200 fps more speed with the BH... The advantage is that you can load larger loads than t7 and increase the velocity without increasing pressure at any given time in your bore.
