Just curious,, what do your butchers charge??

The guy we were using charges $42 a deer. cut any way you want, with the hide off.

I believe $.38 a pound for moose(drop off weight).

We do our own now,, backstraps and some steaks from the hinds,, everything else is cleaned and cubed for sausages.

How much for sausages too?? the guy we use is on average $1.90 a lb. for excellent smoked sausages, kielbasa and pepperets. thats return weight,, pork included.
