Of course, if CVA copied more of the features like the stainless receiver on the Encore, then they would have to raise the price considerably and then they would sink for sure. Honestly, they are decent guns but the only folks here in my region that buy them are the guys that can't pony up the funds to buy the Encore they realy wanted.
All kidding aside, if I couldn't afford an Encore then the Accura would be the one to look at.
Apex is MUCH nicer than the regular encore. That comparison is no contest. The Apex and the pro hunter would be a fair fight, but the apex has a better trigger, better barrel and is $300 cheaper. Read Mike Bellm's review. He is THE t/c authority. If you don't believe it you're a fool
