BH209 is what i use in my Omega. I also use the regular Winchester W209 primers. The primers made for shotguns. I shoot about 105g of BH209 powder. I have shot those 300g shockwaves before, but no longer do. They were accurate. My Omega has been 100% reliable using these components in all kinda weather, including sub-zero temperatures.

I recommend strongly that you do not use solvents or lubricants with BH209 that are intended for black powder, or other black powder substitutes. You should use solvents and lubricants intended for center fire rifles. Hoppes 209 works as a solvent, and there are many others that will also. If you use traditional black powder solvents and lubes with BH209, you will probably be sad, because of rusting issues.

You will also need to remove the carbon in the breech plug fire channel with a 1/8" drill spun by hand. I spin mine with a worn out chuck i removed from a drill motor and saved for some forgotten reason.

I forgot to mention that soaking the breech plug in the windex that contains vinegar, really really cuts the carbon, and makes the chore of cleaning the breech plug a trivial matter. I once made the mistake of using this high powered windex in my barrel, and never will again, because of rusting issues
