Sorry as this is not what you requested, but I suggest drop the baiting for now and scout more. Scouting tells you where the deer are.... NOW! It reveals bedding areas, feeding areas, trails between each and where the deer seem to be spending most of their time. It can show you what they are eating, how they are getting there and bedding areas... and "how" they are getting there! It can also show you if there is a big buck around or if the area is more a doe group area, etc.

Plan an ambush based on these findings and you'll do better than any corn pile can produce, in so far as activity.

You'll also learn about the area more and maybe how other hunters are using it and approaching it. These are important to know too so you can plan for that as well.
