Default Can anyone offer advice to a new New Jersey hunter?

Good evening folks:

I have been hunting a number of years in NY and a friend of mine moved to New Jersey last year so we decide to try hunting some of the state lands in NJ. We are hunting Assunpink State Park and have not been very successful. A few of the locals told us to use corn, which is allowed in NJ. We are hunting the winter bow season and just put our corn piles out three days ago. We went this afternoon to hunt the second half of the day and noticed our corn was not touched at all. I know we have to wait for some deer to discover the corn. But does anyone know how long bait piles should be left out before you should try another spot?

Also, does anyone have any advice for Assunpink Stae Park or know of any other good State lands in NJ?

Thanks!
