Are you looking to archery, muzzy, or rifle hunt.
If it were me I would either do a muzzy or 1st rifle season hunt.
As said before there are lots of great elk in this unit and lots of public land. You are better off camping near your hunting area.
The only thing I do not like about this unit for "trophy hunting" is you must contend with cow elk hunters, turkey hunters, bear hunters, grouse hunters, motorcycle riders, atvers, and sight seers. Now don't let me scare you off as there are some great bulls in this unit and some great areas to get away in.
