I set a PSE up for a guy and was mildly impressed w/ it. He had 20" arrows, but huge bheadfs that needed to go as the were trying to steer the arrow from the front. I put some Slicks on his arrows but never weighed them.

I did find the dial-a-range feature to be wildly inaccurate as far as 10 yd intervals.

I had some 18" custom arrows made for another buddy to cheap to buy a range finder. I also had same 20" from same builder. The 18" were noticably less accurate, but I'm not sure if it was length or FOC.

There's a slew of entry level xbows coming out at the ATA this month, I'd wait and take a look at them for a little higher quality bow for near the same $. Good luck!
