That stand looks mighty comfortable Ruger. I use a Summit 180, which you can hunt with facing or with your back to the tree. I prefer to sit facing the tree as I feel the tree helps hide me and I feel a little more safe with the tree in front of me. The weight is 21 pounds and holds the tree extremely well while clinbing. The sling seat is also very comfortable.
Yeah they are very comfortable. When I was using the Treelounge my knees would hurt for days after. I guess it's from sitting in the same position for all those hours.I can sit in the GS and be comfortable all day. The only thing I didn't like about the GS and that may have changed by now.They come unpainted. My wife only started hunting a few years ago. The first time I took her to try the GS she went up and down the tree like she'd been doing it for years. Very easy compared to the Treelounge.I've taken allot of deer out of these GS's.
