Steiner Safari's 8x22

Depends what type of hunting you're going to be doing. Where I hunt is usually in fairly heavy wooded terrain so I don't need a pair to see 500 yards or more.I have a old pair of the original Redfield's 10x50. They are just to much for where I hunt plus they get heavy by the end of the day. I just received my third pair of these little Steiner Safari's 8x22.My wife has my first pair, last Feb someone broke in my truck and got those. These are a great pair of binoculars and serve my needs well. Check different sites and you can find them for 99.99.I got mine through Costco for that price including shipping. If you're going to be hunting in a more open area then I would find a pair with more magnification. It boils down to where to plan on hunting. Good luck in your search.
