I have never used a Ol man climber.I used a Treelounge for years and now I wouldn't give 50.00 for a new one. We found a climber called the Gunslinger. You face the tree but that gives you allot of advantages as far as cover, using the tree for a rest. I didn't think I would like it but it's great. It's easy to stand up and use the back rail on the seat for a shooting rest. I have two of them and a buddy has one of them We swear by them.I just looked at their site the other night. They've gone up since we bought them.I've had my first one for about 8 years or so.They used to run a sale and still might after the seasons end. They are very easy to climb and come back down. I highly recommend them. They have another model for bow hunting. It's called the Combow.I didn't care for it the one I sat in. It was a bit tight for me. They have one rated for 250 pounds and one for us full figured guys 350 rated.
