I shoot competitions out to 80 yds. When you practice at that distance 40 and 50 seem real easy. I have taken a Doe at 48 yds but did not feel real comfortable with the shot, she only ran 40 yds ( double lung) I don't think I would try it again though.After 40 yds there are too many variables out in the woods.
