On the right hand side, there appears to be a funnel in the SW portion of the outlined area (assuming that up is north in the pic.).
The area is smaller and easier to cover than the area on the left, which would also be a good spot. The deer will most likely move through that area because it probably has a water source, is a windbreak, and is easier to travel in. They are li
e people. If you can avoid going up a hill when you can go down and around, why wouldn't you? My two cents.
